A few weeks before Christmas last year, we added to our hours of operation - longer Saturday hours and two extra weekdays.

A few months in, and we’re happy with the results! Longer hours on Saturdays have made all the difference to us being able to give customers better service*,  and we’ve met a lot more locals with a consistent weekday schedule.

That said, we’re going to trial shifting our weekday hours from 10 - 4 to 12 - 5 (Tuesday through Friday). We hope staying open an hour later will make it easier for our after-school customers. Saturdays will stay the same.

We love the retail aspect of our business, but with a team as tiny as ours, we need a bit more flexibility in order to maintain focus on the rest of our mahi - e-commerce fulfilment and customer service, community programming, manufacturing in Aotearoa and overseas, and giving proper time and energy to bringing our dreams of a roller sports venue to fruition. We also work in a pretty innovative space - and it’s important to us that we stay up to date on new product offerings, especially as we expand our range.

*we do still tend to get slammed between 10 and 2 - the afternoon is generally slower, so a good time to come in for fittings or anything that requires more one-on-one attention
