Beginners Jam skating workshop with Jam Club 4-4.45 pm
Come and learn the basics of roller dance with Jam Club. During the workshop you’ll learn foundational skills for dancing on roller skates like weight transfer and stepping, as well as a few fun moves to get you grooving at your next roller disco!

Duo Roller Skating Workshop with Slayer and Patrick 5-5.45 pm
Join Slayer and Patrick and give duo Skating a try! No partner needed, no duo experience needed but suits those who are reasonably confident on skates. We will start with teaching basic partner spins and progress to more advanced moves during the workshop. Everyone is welcome to try both basing and flying positions but you are also welcome to stick with your preferred position if you have one. Expect to have a blast, try things you’ve never tried before, and expand your skating repertoire.

Learn to Skate Lessons for adults:
Tuesdays from 10:15 - 10:55 at Waikanae Hall
Hire skates available.
Bookings are essential. Register for September now!

Private Skating Lessons

Private lessons for children or adults can be arranged on an hourly basis for individuals or small groups.  Skates for hire are available.

We offer a complimentary half-hour introduction to skating class with every local skate purchase. Learn how to balance, stop safely, and get some tips for practicing at home. These lessons can be at the shop or at a local park/skate spot.

Individual or small group lessons are tailored to your specific needs - we'll chat about your skating goals. You may want to book a series or just a confidence-boosting one-off.

Outdoor Skating Skills - are you keen to skate further afield, but want some help safely navigating inclines, hills, steps, and different skating surfaces? Past locations have included Paraparaumu Waterfront, the skate trail between Porirua and Tawa, the Wellington Waterfront, Hutt River Trail and Avalon Park. We've also travelled to skaters' local parks, playgrounds and school yards to help them navigate spaces they want to skate regularly.

Team Building - we'll bring the skates to you or arrange for a session at a suitable skate space for small groups! Participants work together in a fun environment, learning a new skill and connecting with each other in a totally different context to what they're used to!

Please contact us directly to enquire about rates, book a session or sign up to our mailing list.
